Everyday Sexuality and Social Work: Locating Sexuality in Professional Practice and Education
Charollett Dunstan more than 2 years ago. I did take an interview for a children and youth team in Essex, a very large county to the north of London. Sex workers may also experience strong resistance to condom use by their clients, which may extend into a lack of consent by the worker to any sexual act performed in the encounter; this risk is magnified when sex workers are trafficked or forced into sex work. The good news is that relatively few social workers become involved in such relationships. And social workers partnering on multidisciplinary antitrafficking teams must be careful not to experience role drift and shy away from defending a social justice view of victims. Obviously, this is an old article and may not herald a response. Would you be willing to talk with me about how the process worked for you and any part Loyola played in it?
