Kentucky girl claims Edmonson County High School forced her to get on her KNEES
Amanda Durbin, 17, wore a dress her mother argued was fine enough to wear to church, but someone at Edmonson County High School didn't think was appropriate for the classroom, WBKO reported. Durbin paired a mid-length red and black dress on top of dark leggings, which someone at the school thought was too revealing. So the student was pulled into the principal's office and asked to get on her knees, so they could measure how far the floor was from the end of her dress. Durbin said she was uncomfortable kneeling in front of Principal Tommy Hodges, so she asked for her parents, the high school senior told Buzzfeed. Instead of resuming her school day and going to classes, school administration decided to waste the day and wait two hours for her parents to arrive before they continued acting as fashion police.
