Blind Spot (1993)
Rick Marx hid behind his pen name of "Lou Meyers" for the spare but effective script for this porn movie made by Paul Thomas starring the lovely Lene who starred for the director in the soft-core film "The Pamela Principle" soon after. An example of the once-popular Couples genre I call Lifestyle Porn, the deceptively simple movie takes place at a vast mansion used as a club named "Blind Spot" by mean entrepreneur Steven St. Croix, given to wearing loud sports jackets. His employees are called "dancers", led by featured Lene, and seem to be glorified B-girls having sex with the well-dressed clientele. I would have preferred a nightclub set for the setting, but as with many porn shoots a mansion is easier to rent and dress up a bit as a practical location.
